Fantasy Fan News: Fantasy TopList moved!

As you may have noticed Fantasy Toplist (Top 20 Fantasy Websites) moved to a new location. The toplist moved to a better platform and changed the formula of voting a bit. The websites listed remained the same, however now you can vote for each website once a day as opposed to once a month. Each month the toplist will be reset allowing new websites to compete with the old-timers.

Game News: Wheel of Time MMO

Red Eagle Entertainment, a California production company which holds the film, TV and video game rights to the series, has opened a subsidiary, Red Eagle Games to produce games based Wheel of Time movies. One of the games made will be a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game).

Red Eagle will develop the games in-house, but the company currently lacks developers. Selvage and co-founder Larry Mondragon, both former IBM executives, have "identified key game developers" and plan to start hiring "in the coming months."

So if you're looking for a job in game design and you're a Wheel of Time fan - here's once in a lifetime opportunity for you!

Robert Jordan News: Wheel of Time Movie!

Seems like it's a week of big fantasy movie news. First Song of Ice and Fire and now Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time! The film studio Red Eagle Entertainment announced that at least one major motion picture (the studio executive expects three) will be made, based on the first novel “The Eye of the World”.

Fantasy Movie News: Half-Blood Prince most anticipated movie of the next year
